The Department of Orbit, Oculoplasty and Oncology deals with the management of diseases and defects of the orbit, eyelids and the lacrimal system. It also deals with facial aesthetics and cosmetology. The following disorders are diagnosed and treated :

1. Dacryocystitis – a chronic infection of the lacrimal system resulting in watering and discharge
2. Ptosis – drooping of the upper eyelid which could also lead to Amblyopia ( lazy eye)
3. Proptosis – a protrusion of the eyeball caused by tumours in the orbit
4. Disfigured eyeballs – existing at birth or caused by disease.
5. Lid retraction and malpositions like ectropion and entropion. .
6. Ocular oncology to deal with cancers of the eye, the orbit, the lids and the face.
7. Problems associated with ageing like upper lid and lower lid for excess skin, muscle and fat and drooping of brow.
8. Blepharospasm and Hemifacial spasm.
