This breakthrough technology provides the surgeon with real-time 3D visualization for true customization of your lens replacement procedure.

The LenSx® Laser System continues to lead the way by ongoing innovations in image-guided control, lens fragmentation, corneal incisions, capsulorhexis, arcuate incisions for reducing post op astigmatism – All with LASER. It all adds up to a refractive cataract surgery procedure that's smarter, better, faster.

Notable Features

When you choose the LenSx® Laser approach, you will enjoy the benefits of

  • A bladeless cataract procedure.
  • Truly customized cataract surgery.
  • Reduced risk of complications including blindness and less stress to the cornea (less endothelial cell loss).
  • Better positioning of lens to maximize the visual outcome, while less phacoemulsification ('phaco') energy reduces haze.
  • Replacing some manual steps and the use of a blade (knife) during surgery.
  • Pre-breaking apart of the cataract using the femtosecond laser reduces surgery time and risk.
  • Less phaco energy used results in faster recovery and produces better results.
